What is the Mamma Metasearch engine?

Mamma Metasearch is a search engine that acquires information from up to a dozen Internet directories and search engines. The source of the search result appears in square brackets beneath the text. A ranking and voting system eliminates duplicate results to produce the most relevant results.

Mamma Metasearch offers users options such as setting preferences and refining or expanding results with the Advanced Search tab. Maps, driving directions and Yellow Page listings are available. The Mamma Explorer Bar allows users to save searches for future reference. Mamma Metasearch retrieves results more quickly than other metasearch engines. The service is only available to Internet Explorer users.
