Appliance manufacturer Summit produces one of the smallest microwave ovens available for built-in installation as of 2015. The Summit OTR24 is only 15.25 inches high by 19 inches wide by 16 inches deep, and can fit in cabinets as small as 20 inches wide.

The Summit OTR24 is a 900-watt microwave that weighs only 33 pounds, making it suitable for installations where space is at a premium. It features a bright digital display and touchpad controls with preset cooking modes for popcorn, pizza and beverages. The unit's stainless steel exterior and handle are intended to blend well with modern kitchen decor styles.
