Moses did not take any animals into the Ark, because it was not Moses, but Noah that took seven pairs of each species on the ark. This information is found in the book of Genesis seventh chapter and verses one and two.
In the first verse of the seventh chapter of Genesis, Noah is instructed to enter the ark, and in the second verse, Noah is instructed as to how many of each pairs of species to take along on the ark. He is also given specific instructions as to which genders to take along, both male and female. Moses was the Egyptian prince who lead revolts against the Pharaoh and later led the people of Israel out of Egypt.
