How many channels does Cablevision offer?

As of 2015, Cablevision offers more than 600 channels through its television service package called Optimum TV. Along with the 600 channels that Optimum TV offers, Cablevision also provides access to 165 free channels viewable in high definition with On Demand programming.

Optimum TV offers four distinct channel packages. The Value, Preferred, Silver and Gold packages each have slight differences in the number of available television channels. The Starz lineup of channels, including Starz and Starz Cinema, for example, are only available in the Silver and Gold channel packages. Available channels are also likely to vary slightly depending on the area of the subscription.
