How many children does Ben Carson have?

Dr. Ben Carson and his wife, Candy, have three children as of February 2015. They are Murray, Benjamin, Jr. and Rhoeyce. Dr. and Mrs. Carson have been married since 1975.

Dr. Carson was formerly the Director of Pediatric Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is renowned for his exceptional work at separating conjoined twins. In 1987, he employed a technique called hypothermic arrest to expedite the separation of twin brothers joined at the backs of their heads. Hypothermic arrest entails cooling down the body of a patient to slow blood flow with the result being less severe bleeding and trauma. Born in Detroit in 1951, Dr. Carson is the author of two books.
