Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, averages between 99 and 101 flights daily, as of 2015. Rickenbacker International Airport, or LCK, is a civil-military public airport primarily used for cargo, but increasingly for passenger charter flights.

Rickenbacker International Airport opened in 1942 as a U.S. Army Airfield. In 1974, the name was changed to honor Eddie Rickenbacker, a Columbus native and one of the leading American fighter pilots in World War 1.

Rickenbacker has an excellent safety record, with only six incidences in its history to date. It has two runways, and the main passenger airline flying out of it is Allegiant Air.
