Different buildings have different heights for each story. Typical story height is 3.9 meters for offices, 3.1 meters for hotels or residences and 3.5 meters for mixed-use buildings.
Most buildings also have mechanical floors, typically one every 20 to 30 floors, where story heights differ as well. Typical story heights for these floors in offices are reported to be 7.8 meters, for residences and hotels to be 4.65 meters and for mixed-use buildings to be 6.125 meters. There are roof mechanical floors as well. These are typically 7.8 meters for office buildings, 6.2 meters for residences and hotels and 7.0 meters for mixed use buildings.
