Arrowhead Stadium has a capacity of 79,541, spread across three levels of seating. The home venue of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs lies adjacent to Kauffman Stadium as part of the Truman Sports Complex.

Construction began in 1968, with the Chiefs taking the field for the 1972 season. The team played on an artificial surface until the 1994 campaign, when natural grass was installed. Arrowhead is one of the oldest stadiums in the NFL, and a $375 million renovation was completed in 2010. Considered by many to be the NFL's loudest environment, Arrowhead reached a world-record 142.2 decibels during a September 2014 Monday night game against the New England Patriots.
