Aspen Dental has 489 dental providers in 30 states as of April 2015. The company plans to open up to 55 new practices in 2015.

The bulk of Aspen Dental's practices are located in the states surrounding the Great Lakes and the northeastern part of the United States. In 2015, the company plans to open new dental offices in Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Oregon, among other states.

According to the company's website, one of Aspen Dental's goals is to expand the availability of dental care in the United States. About 80 percent of the company's facilities are located in designated health-professional shortage areas. Each Aspen Dental practice is independently owned.
