Jupiter is slightly over 1,321 times more voluminous than the Earth, and its equator is roughly 11 times bigger than the Earth's equator. Measured by mass, Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system.

Jupiter's circumference at the equator, the widest latitude of the planet, is 272,945.9 miles, while the Earth's equatorial circumference is 24,873.6 miles. The inner core of Jupiter is roughly the same size as the entire Earth. In addition to volume and circumference, Jupiter is also more massive and has a greater surface area than the Earth. However, Jupiter is only about one-quarter as dense as Earth.
