How many light-years is Jupiter from Earth?
By Forinfos - 13/04/2026 - 0 comments
The planet Jupiter is between 35 and 52 light-minutes from Earth. The distance between the two planets is constantly changing as they travel around the Sun in their respective orbits.
The fifth and largest of the solar planets, Jupiter orbits the sun at a distance that is more than five times greater than that of the Earth's distance from the sun. Since both planets travel around the sun in an elliptical path, the distance between Earth and Jupiter can range from 365 million to 601 million miles. Jupiter emits no light of its own and is only visible from Earth due to reflected sunlight.
