The average distance between Earth and Jupiter is 483 million miles, so it would take 43 minutes to travel from Earth to Jupiter at the speed of light. However, the distance between Earth and Jupiter is always changing; therefore, the time to reach Jupiter from Earth varies.
There have been several probes sent from Earth to Jupiter as of 2014, and it took them between three and five years to get to Jupiter. A few of the missions sent to Jupiter include Cassini, Voyager I and II, Ulysses, and Pioneer 11. It would take 850 years traveling 65 miles per hour to reach Jupiter from Earth.
