How many Whirlpool refrigerator models are there?

As of 2015, Whirlpool carries 42 refrigerator models, some of which are available in multiple colors. Whirlpool carries 12 refrigerator models with French doors, 10 side-by-side refrigerator models, three models with a bottom freezer and 17 models with a top freezer.

Whirlpool's French door refrigerators are available with or without exterior water dispensers. Two of the refrigerators with French doors have an extra refrigerated compartment below the main refrigerator doors, just above the freezer. The side-by-side refrigerators are also available with or without exterior water dispensers, while the refrigerators with top or bottom freezer do not have an exterior water dispenser option.
