Marinate pork roast by preparing the marinade, pouring the marinade in a food storage bag, placing the pork roast in the bag, and letting it refrigerate overnight. You need vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, cayenne, pepper, salt, water, a pork roast, a crockpot and a food storage bag.
- Combine the wet ingredients
In a container, combine 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of ketchup and 1/2 cup of water.
- Add the dry ingredients
To the wet ingredients, add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1 clove of minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Mix the ingredients
Mix all of the wet and dry ingredients together to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade into a bag
Pour the marinade into a food storage bag that is large enough to fit all of the marinade sauce and the pork roast.
- Add the pork roast
Gently place the pork roast inside of the bag, and seal the bag shut.
- Marinate the roast overnight
Place the sealed bag inside of a large bowl, and sit the bowl inside of your refrigerator. Let the roast marinate overnight.
- Prepare the crockpot
Select a crockpot that's large enough to hold the pork roast. Set in on low.
- Cook the pork roast
Place the marinated pork roast in the crockpot, and cover the pot with a lid. Cook the roast for eight to 10 hours.
