What do marine biologists study?
By Forinfos - 27/08/2025 - 0 comments
Marine biologists study saltwater organisms, or organisms that live in the ocean. Marine biologists work for private businesses, non-profit organizations and colleges. They spend a majority of their time in a boat, under water, in a laboratory or at an aquarium.
Marine biologists require at least a bachelor's degree. In some cases, they must have earned a Ph.D. or post-doctorate degree. Experience through internships or outside study is also common. Common positions in marine biology include working with animals in an aquarium or zoo, working at a rehabilitation/rescue establishment, and studying smaller saltwater organisms and how they can pertain to medicine.
