Where is Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune located?

Camp Lejeune is located in southeastern North Carolina near the city of Jacksonville in Onslow County. As of 2015, Camp Lejeune is 153,439 acres in size and has 14 miles of beach along the Atlantic Ocean.

Camp Lejeune is the largest Marine Corps base on the United States' eastern coast and houses more than 47,000 servicemen, including five Marine Corps commands and one Navy command. The camp is also home to the Chemical, Biological, Incident Response Force.

Construction on Camp Lejuene began in 1941. Originally known as Marine Barracks New River, the government renamed the facility Camp Lejuene in 1942 to honor John A. Lejeune, the 13th Commandant of the Marine Corps.
