Who is the mastermind behind the Lyric hearing aid?

The Lyric hearing aid was developed and invented by entrepreneur Adnan Shennib while he was working at InSound Medical, the medical company he founded in 1998. The Lyric hearing aid remains the world's smallest hearing device.

In 2009, the Lyric hearing aid was named Top 10 Health Innovations by CNN and received the 2009 Medical Device Excellence Award. Shennib also founded two other companies, Decibel Instruments and iHear, and holds over thirty other patents. He began his career working with hearing devices back 1988 when he developed the world's most advanced, and first remotely controlled, hearing aid products at the time for ReSound, a company that would go on to be purchased by GN Store Nord.
