Riverdeep offered K-12 learning in Basic Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Probability, and Statistics. The software programs Destination Math, Mighty Math Calculating Crew and Tangible Math offered interactive learning on basic math topics, multiplication and division, and real-life math simulations.

When Riverdeep PLC acquired Houghton Mifflin in 2006, the company began to use the name HM Rivergroup. Then in 2007, Houghton Mifflin and Harcourt US Schools Education merged and formed Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Learning Technology. Today, HMH is a global leader in pre K-12 education content and technology with over 50 million students in more than 150 countries.
