Charity Cars, Inc. accepts donated cars and donates them to qualified disabled individuals, as of 2015. Approved applicants must wait for cars that are donated where they live. Individuals create an online profile to begin the request process. Recipients must be able to afford insurance, fuel and repairs.
Good News Garage, a member of Ascentria Care Alliance, accepts and repairs donated cars. Good News Garage donates the refurbished cars to qualified applicants who live in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. The Good News Garage website provides links to participating social service partners who set their own application procedures and eligibility requirements for receiving a free car.
