How do you measure the distance from one place to another?

Measure the distance from one place to another simply by using Google Maps. Point and click on the map to indicate a start and end point to measure.

1. Use Google Maps to measure the distance between two places on a map

   Open a web browser and navigate to www.google.com/maps.

2. Choose the starting location

   Right click on the map at the point you wish to begin measuring distance.

3. Choose "Measure distance" from the menu

   Click "Measure distance" from the menu that appears.

4. Choose the end location

   Click on the map to indicate the endpoint of the distance you want to measure.

5. Check the distance measured

   Look under the search box or on the map to see the distance measured between your two points.
