Does Mercedes-Benz sell motor homes?

Mercedes-Benz does not produce or sell motor homes as of 2015. However, some motor home builders use Mercedes-Benz vehicles or components as the basis for their motor homes.

One Mercedes-Benz vehicle commonly used as the basis for a motor home is the Sprinter van. Intended for use as a large cargo or passenger van, the Sprinter serves as the basis for Class B motor home models produced by Thor Motor Coach, Sportsmobile and other motor home manufacturers. Most of these conversions replace the rear of the Sprinter van with a new, larger enclosure, but some conversions use the existing Sprinter body and add motor home features within the existing cargo space.
