The XK is rated at 510 horsepower while the Mercedes has a 577 horsepower, 5.5-liter V8 engine. The 550 also has a more fuel efficient drivetrain and utilizes a 7-speed automatic transmission as opposed to the 6-speed automatic transmission offered by the Jaguar XK.
