Like other National Football League teams, the Minnesota Vikings do not publish cheerleaders' salaries. However, the average payment for NFL cheerleaders ranges from $70 to $90 per game, as of 2013, according to The Richest.

The Minnesota Vikings website cautions that cheerleader positions constitute part-time employment. Prospective cheerleaders must audition for the role. Each candidate must pay a $25 application fee and present valid photo identification. Cheerleaders must be at least 18 years of age at the time of their audition and possess a high school diploma. However, younger candidates can attend the workshops to prepare for a future audition once they reach the age of majority.
