What is a Mohave ball python?
By Forinfos - 08/05/2026 - 0 comments
Mojave ball pythons are snakes of the species Python regius that have a reduced pattern of light markings against a dark background. The light markings are teardrop-shaped with a single dark spot in the middle and are separated from one another by darker outlines.
Mojave ball pythons can be of any color, including green, yellow, black and brown. The gene involved in Mojave markings is co-dominant. Therefore, Mojave snakes bred with snakes of other color patterns produce snakes whose patterns combine characteristics of both parents. Mojave snakes bred to one another can produce Super Mojave offspring, snakes with white body scales, blue eyes and purple heads.
