What is a mother's helper?
By Forinfos - 27/05/2025 - 0 comments
A mother's helper plays the role of an assistant in families to provide childcare and other services when at least one parent is at home. Mother's helpers are different from babysitters and nannies. They can help with cooking, laundry, cleaning and other home chores.
A mother's helper finds jobs with families that have one or more kids. For example, if mum is feeding a baby or busy, mother's helper can help with taking care of the older kids. The hourly pay of a mother's helper is less than that of a babysitter or a nanny because the work is performed while at least one parent is at home.
