By Forinfos - 26/11/2025 - 0 comments
As of 2015, an average mid-grade air exchanger or handler runs between $950 and $1,200 at a non-discounted retail cost. Variances in this average are the result of pricing differences in brands and supplier price points. The total average installation, including labor and materials, runs between $1,350 and $1,700.
This total cost estimate includes the price of delivering local equipment and materials to the job site, preparing the worksite for the air handler, cleaning up after the job and removing any debris. Labor setup and mobilization time are also part of the estimate. Sales taxes, contractor overhead and any inspection fees are not included.
