The cost of a Carrier Infinity Series heat pump ranges from $7,000 to $25,000 including installation. The Base Series ranges from $2,500 to $12,000. These ranges represent both the top end and lower end of the Carrier heat pump series.

Carrier has multiple series of heat pumps ranging from ultra efficient to moderate efficiency. Depending on the customer's needs, the type of heat pump installed and the installer labor charges, the total cost can vary greatly. Carrier makes heat pumps from the three-ton models to five-ton models, either with or without air handlers and heat strips. Not all the models need these additional features, which can also add to the price.
