Joan Jett’s “Real Wild Child” is the song used for the 2015 Hyundai Sonata commercial. The commercial features a young girl pretending to drive in the backseat, while her father speeds around an empty parking lot.

“Real Wild Child” is a cover of the Australian rocker Johnny O'Keefe's “Wild One.” Jett first sang the cover on the “We will Fall: The Iggy Pop Tribute” record in 1997 and later included it in her album, “Flashback.” O’Keefe co-wrote and recorded “Wild One” in 1958. The song has been covered by numerous artists over the years, including Jerry Ivan Allison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Buddy Holly.
