What is the name of a baby antelope?

A baby antelope is known as a calf. The gestation period of the female antelope varies by species and can be as short as four months or as long as nine months.

Antelopes typically give birth to just one calf, although there have been incidences of twins. The age of maturity in antelopes varies widely, with some species reaching maturity at the age of six months and others taking eight full years to mature. Typically, male antelopes mature more slowly than their female counterparts.

Antelope can be found in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, where they make homes in deserts, steppes, rain forests, swamps, marshes, woodlands and savannahs.
