Sir Henry Morgan is known to have owned and captained several ships during his lifetime, but his flagship was named "Satisfaction." The ship was the largest of Morgan's fleet and was captained during several conflicts in the waters of the Caribbean and Central America.

Satisfaction had once been a French privateer ship named "Le Cerf Volant." Morgan captured and renamed the vessel after his previous warship, the Oxford, was destroyed near present-day Haiti. Satisfaction was one of five ships that Morgan lost during a campaign near Panama in 1671. A group of archaeologists discovered what they believe are the remains of Satisfaction near Panama's Lajas Reef in 2011.
