A narcissistic person is someone who thinks he is more important than and superior to other people. Narcissists need to be the center of attention, think they are entitled to special treatment, and have a hard time getting along with others, because they lack empathy.
Narcissists get angry when they feel criticized; and, they can become enraged and abusive. They tend to behave in a critical or scornful manner or exaggerate their accomplishments in a boastful way. Narcissists are often impulsive thrill-seekers, who do not think consequences apply to them. They can have difficulty with interpersonal relationships and thus are unable to have a successful marriage or career.
