What is a NASCAR pit pass?

A NASCAR pit pass is an official document that allows race attendants direct access to the infield. It only provides pit access during the specific times and dates listed on the pass itself.

Some pit passes allow extended access for multiple days, such as during a weekend of racing. Most pit passes are sold at different levels, with more costly passes providing ticket holders with additional benefits. These sometimes include the opportunity to sign the finish line or to get a driver's autograph. When minors hold pit passes, they are typically required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
