The wood of this blooming tree is often used in the making of cabinets, hydraulic works, vehicle bodies and poles. The trees produce a seed-bearing fruit, but it is not a fleshy or edible fruit. These fruits and seeds are moved by the wind and normally begin to germinate in humid areas.
