What is National University Virtual High School?

National University Virtual High School is an online high school that was established in January 2004. It allows high school students to take classes and earn a United States diploma from any location. The school is based in La Jolla, California, and is part of the National University System.

National University Virtual High School provides courses that either meet or exceed California and U.S. standards of education. The courses have flexible scheduling and are taught by California-credentialed teachers. Students can have access to course materials 24 hours a day. As of 2015, the school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
