What network carries the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowl airs on either CBS, NBC or Fox. The NFL entered into an agreement with these three networks in 2011 to allow one of them to carry the Super Bowl through the 2023 season before weighing its options again.

The NFL has generally been happy with the production quality of the networks chosen to air the Super Bowl. Each network will carry three Super Bowl games during the course of this contract. NBC gets to carry the big game in 2015, 2018 and 2021. CBS will broadcast the Super Bowl in 2016, 2019 and 2022 while Fox gets the Super Bowl in 2017, 2020 and 2023.
