Who makes Nexen tires?

Nexen tires are manufactured by Korean-based Nexen Tire Company. Nexen was the first tire manufacturer in Korea, and was established in 1942 under the name Heung-A Tire Company. It operated solely in Korea until 2005 when the company opened a branch in the United States.

Since branching out to the U.S., the manufacturer has opened new offices worldwide. The company chose the name Nexen in an effort to combine the ideas of "next" and "century," a philosophy that the company considers future oriented.
