What are some nonflowering plants?
By Forinfos - 10/07/2025 - 0 comments
Ferns and mosses are examples of nonflowering plants. This type of plant produces spores rather than seeds as flowering plants do.
Ferns produce spores underneath their leaves. They often appear as brown spots, but some are not visible to the naked eye. Another type of plant that is nonflowering is fungi. This includes mushrooms, but this type of plant is not scientifically included in the non flowering classification. They fall under their own category though they also reproduce by releasing spores. While all spores feature a similar makeup, the shape and appearance depends on the exact type of plant.
