As a supplement, noni fruit from the Morinda citrifolia tree is consumed as a juice or a tea, usually mixed with another fruit to mask its pungent flavor. It can also be consumed as a powder in pill or capsule form.
Though noni is most commonly used as a supplement in the Western world, it is regularly consumed as a food staple where it naturally grows. It is present throughout the tropics and is a food source for Australian Aboriginals as well as Pacific and Southeast Asians. It can be consumed raw and salted, roasted, or cooked as part of a curry dish.
