Notable additions to the cast of "The Fosters" in season three included Katharine McNamara, Keean Johnson and Tom Williamson. The ABC Family show is about a mulitracial group of teenagers who are biological and foster children of two mothers.

McNamara also is scheduled to appear in the "Maze Runner" sequel "Scorch Trials" and has appeared on shows on the Disney Channel, which is affiliated with ABC Family. She portrays a piano prodigy named Kat. Johnson, who also appears in the show "Nashville," plays Tom, a talented composer. Williamson, who has appeared in "Switched at Birth," plays a runaway named AJ.
