As of 2015, there is no number that can be texted to view an AT&T bill, however a number can be called to receive details on a bill by text. An active AT&T customer can call *225# on their phone to receive billing and account details via text.

Other numbers that can be called to receive info by text on AT&T include *3282#, *646# and *729. After each number is called, there is a confirmation sent via the phone that the request is being processed. Depending on the request sent, such as data, minutes or account balance information, a text message is sent to the requesting mobile phone number.
