What ocean borders Russia to the North?

The Arctic Ocean spans the entire northern border of Russia. While the western and southern borders of Russia are shared with other countries, the eastern border faces onto the Pacific Ocean.

There are five main oceans on Earth: the Arctic, Pacific, Atlantic, Southern and Indian. Each ocean is a massive body of salt water, and together they combine to cover over 70 percent of the planet's surface. Due to the immense volume, very little of the ocean has actually been explored.
