The Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio, offers State Tested Nursing Aid classes. The STNA program at the college includes 108 hours of state-approved training and a 16-hour clinical rotation. The college offers cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid training as part of the STNA program.
Students who successfully complete the program receive an Ohio Department of Health Certificate of Completion and can register for the Ohio state nurse aid test.
Students can take the state competency test at the Cuyahoga Community College, and the college provides students with online practice tests. Students who pass the test have their names added to the Ohio Nurse Aid Registry.
