What is the official language of Israel?

Hebrew and Arabic are the official languages of Israel. A majority of the population speaks Hebrew, but the county also has a sizable Arabic-speaking minority. Many Israelis also speak English.

As a homeland for Jewish people around the world, Israel is a magnet for immigration, which has led to its status as a linguistic melting pot.
