How does one cancel a Netflix free trial?

To cancel a Netflix free trial, log into Netflix and click the "Cancel membership" link on the account page. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the cancellation process.

There are two different types of Netflix accounts. One is an online-only membership, and the second allows DVD and Blu-ray rentals. If the second type of membership is canceled, all disks must be returned within 7 days. If the Netflix account was created using AppleTV, contact AppleCare to cancel the free trial. Netflix subscriptions can be reinstated after they have been canceled by logging into the account page and reactivating the account.
