An online adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) examination is available at HealthyPlace. A free web-based ADHD test for adults is also featured at Adult Attention Deficit Disorder Center of Maryland. This resource is not a diagnostic tool for adult ADHD, notes Adult Attention Deficit Disorder Center of Maryland.

The test at HealthyPlace is a 24-item exam that screens for possible symptoms of ADHD. The results help determine whether consultation with an ADHD specialist is required for diagnosis and treatment of the condition as an adult, states HealthyPlace.

The screening test provided by the Center of Maryland is based on the criteria found in the fourth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Text Revision (DMS-IV TR). This symptom checklist is composed of two parts. The first part is composed of six questions, which are designed to accurately predict symptoms associated with ADHD.
