The orange star flower is native to Ecuador in South America. There are five different types, but all have similar appearances. The five types are the orange star zinnia, the orange star tecoma, the orange star ornithgalum, the orange star jubilee and the orange star guzmanis lingulata. The orange star tecoma grows up to 10 feet tall, and the orange star ornithgalum grows up to 12 inches tall. Orange star flowers require little watering and should be fertilized every two weeks.
