The order of entrance for a bridal party is mother of the bride, bridesmaids, maid of honor, flower girl, ring bearer and then bride. There are times when the bridesmaids are walked down the aisle arm in arm with the groomsmen. However, the groomsmen can also wait up front with the groom.

Some weddings also have a special procession for the officiant to walk down the aisle following the mother of the bride. The maid of honor always remains close to the bride and walks down the aisle right before the bride enters. The groom and best man typically enter off to the side up front, but some ceremonies have been known to call for the groom and best man to walk down the aisle as well.
