How do you order a fried turkey from Popeye's?

As of 2013, fried turkeys may be ordered in-store at participating Popeye's locations. The store locater app on Popeyes.com denotes which stores offer fried turkeys by placing a Cajun Turkey icon next to the store's name. Turkeys are only available between November and December to coincide with the holiday season.

Fried turkeys from Popeye's come pre-cooked and thawed, but chilled. They need to be defrosted in the oven or broiler before serving. Birds generally range from 9 to 13 pounds in size, enough to serve about eight to 12 people. They are rubbed with Cajun seasoning, slow roasted and flash-fried so they are crispy on the outside.
