What are some Oreo cookie recipes?

Oreo cheesecake bites are made by baking a crushed Oreo base with cream cheese, sour cream and vanilla, and then finishing off with a chocolate topping.

Oreo Cheesecake Bites

Ingredients:

• 36 Oreo cookies
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 32 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 eggs
• 4 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate

1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking pan

Heat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan with foil, overlapping the sides.

2. Make the cookie crumbs

Crush 24 of the cookies into crumbs and mix thoroughly with half of the butter. Spread across the base of the baking pan, pressing it into place.

3. Combine ingredients

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar and mix in the sour cream and vanilla.

4. Beat in an egg

Beat in one egg at a time until the mixture has reached an even consistency.

5. Add crumbs and transfer to the pan

Chop up the remaining 12 cookies and stir into the cheese and cream mixture. Transfer to the baking pan, pouring over the cookie crumb crust.

6. Bake and cool

Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Remove and cool.

7. Melt the chocolate

While the cheesecake is cooling, take the remaining butter and microwave it in a bowl with the chocolate for between 45 seconds and 1 minute on high.

8. Stir, cool and spread the chocolate

Stir to combine and allow to cool slightly before spreading over the cheesecake.

9. Chill and serve

Refrigerate for 4 hours and then lift the cheesecake from the pan by holding the foil. Slice into bite-sized portions and serve.
