There are a variety of quality websites to make word clouds in addition to Wordle, including Word It Out, ABC Ya, WordSift, Tagul and TagCrowd. These sites all have similar features to Wordle, with some allowing users to tag and link specific words to other web pages.

Depending on the site, users also have the option to choose to leave out certain words and change the size and font of the color. WordSift gives users the option to sort words by rare to common or A to Z. The Stanford University resource also provides links to a visual thesaurus, which displays the most common word in the word cloud along with its synonyms.
